Knowledge Point saved 10 days before closure.

London’s most famous taxi school was 10 days away from closing its doors due to the ever rising rent at its training centre on Caledonian Road, Islington.  The site was set to be turned into luxury flats and the company was expected to be out by last year.

Knowledge Point training centre has been teaching ‘the knowledge’ for over 30 years and has seen around 9,000 black cab drivers graduate as a result of their hard work.

The London Taxi Company came to the companies recuse by offering rent free learning space at the LTC Brewery Road Dealership which is just a few yards from its prior location. The offer was greatly appreciated with Malcolm Linskey, the founder of the school stating that the offer was well received just prior to Christmas.

The taxi school can now continue to apply its hard work and training to many more possible graduates thus providing London with even more skilled professional taxi drivers.
