Short Term Minibus Cover

When you buy Minibus Insurance your policy normally is an annual one. You might however want to lend your vehicle to a colleague so they can use the minibus on a short term basis over the weekend for a walking trip or perhaps they have a family outing and can’t fit everyone into a car. If they were to take out short term cover it would jeopardise your no claims bonus.

Can I buy temporary Minibus insurance if I am under 25?

On our short term minibus scheme we can only cover 25-65 year old drivers. On our annual scheme we are usually able to cover drivers that fall outside these ages.

How many drivers can I add to my temporary minibus Insurance?

Our short term minibus scheme only allows cover for either Insured only or Insured and 1 Named driver.

Will the short term minibus insurance policy cover the vehicle for use outside the EU?

Unfortunately the short term insurance will not cover you to drive outside the EU. Please make sue you advise our team if you require use outside the UK.
